Position Summary:
DiscoverU Health is seeking a highly motivated, bilingual (English/Spanish) Employer Benefits & Business Development Advisor to help expand our presence within the Hispanic and Latino business community throughout Maryland.
This individual will focus on developing relationships with Hispanic-owned businesses, employers, community organizations, and independent insurance professionals while helping employers strengthen their employee healthcare benefits through DiscoverU Health's concierge healthcare services and other insurance products.
This is a contract, commission-based opportunity designed for entrepreneurial professionals who enjoy building relationships, creating opportunities, and being rewarded for results. As a founding member of our business development team, you'll help grow DiscoverU Health while making a meaningful impact on employers and their workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and develop relationships with employers throughout Maryland.
- Present DiscoverU Health's concierge healthcare membership as an employer-sponsored benefit.
- Educate employers on available health and life insurance solutions when appropriate.
- Conduct employer presentations, Lunch & Learns, enrollment meetings, and networking events.
- Build strategic partnerships with independent insurance brokers, business organizations, and community leaders.
- Guide employers through the proposal, contracting, and employee enrollment process.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently meet business development goals.
- Represent DiscoverU Health professionally throughout the community.
Qualifications:
- Active Health & Life Insurance License preferred.
- Previous experience in B2B sales, business development, employer benefits, healthcare, or insurance.
- Strong presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable prospecting and networking.
- Reliable transportation.

- Independent Contractor (1099).
